The main obstacle that I faced when trying to make the animation was how to film it without moving the camera. I managed to overcome this by creating a contraption that suspended the iPad above the paper where I was working. It looks rather low budget but it worked really well. I used three lamps when filming this so that the light was equally concentrated throughout the frame.
