Today I created the storyboards for both of the films that I will be shooting. The first is 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark' a thriller. I will be using live action as I feel that I will not be able to make two well made animations in the time given. Also I would like to test my skills as a film maker.
The second opening that I am going to do is a Bollywood film called Yaadein. I have chosen to do a Bollywood film as I feel that it would be more fun to do as there is lots of colours to play around with, also I feel that there is not a good intro to a Bollywood film (that I have seen) so I want to try and do the genre justice. There is only one Bollywood opening that I watched that was really interesting it is called 'Taare Zameen Par, Every Child is Special' which shows an underwater scene where where fish swim through the titles. Many Bollywood films start straight in so the names of people staring are just shown on the bottom of the screen as the film is playing.
I have planned out the basics of what I will do for my animation, some scenes will change as I animate and I think that I will add some more I between the girls dancing and the end.
